Proline 0-1 Bul

Bul picked up three precious away points as they subjected Proline to the latter’s fourth defeat in five matches at Lugogo on Friday.

Hamisi Tibita scored the all-important goal eight minutes from full time after both teams had huffed and huffed to no yields.

The striker received an inviting ball on the edge of the 18 yard area and in an attempt to thwart him, Proline defender Ivan Bukenya lost a yard on Hamisi.

What followed was a well-struck goal into the top corner to send the visitors bench into euphoria.

Victory, the eighth in 20 matches for Bul, has the Jinja side in seventh place on 27 points.

For coach Mujib Kasule’s Proline, it has been such a sobering start to the second round, which has seen them lose four games in five attempts so far.

That woeful run has seen them drop to the relegation zone where they lie third from bottom on 18 points from 20 matches.
