Ahead of the 2021/22 season, Bul has confirmed Alex Isabirye on a permanent deal as the new Head Coach on a two year contract.

The former URA tactician handled the last ten games for the club saving them from the drop after replacing Arthur Kyesiimire on an interim basis.

Isabirye will work with Richard Kasule Bbakabulindi, Daniel Kabale and James Magala as first, second and third assistant coach in that order.

Noah Kasule will serve as the fitness coach of the team, Kenneth Magada as the goal keeping coach while club legend Patrick Asiku Crespo will take up the chief scouting role.

In the same breath, the Eastern Giants have confirmed the signing of striker Ibrahim Nsimbe and goalkeeper Saidi Keni from relegated MYDA and SC Villa respectively.

Meanwhile, the club also confirmed departure of eight players including forward Anwar Ntege and midfielder Elvis Kibbale who have returned to their respective parent clubs – URA FC and Edgars FC after being on loan last season.

The other six are Charles Ssempa, winger Robert Mukongotya and striker Deogratious Ojok, Dennis Okot Oola, Jimmy Kulaba and as well Musa Walangalira after their contracts expired.

The club have also sold highly rated defender Kenneth Semakula to SC Villa for an undisclosed fee.
