Bul edge Maroons to go third

Tuesday result

Maroons 1-2 Bul

Bul went third on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) table following their 2-1 away victory battling Maroons at Luzura on Tuesday.

The visitors were charged from the onset; and they got their reward as early as the sixth minute when Deogratius Ojok opened the scoring.

Maroons, who are still desperately looking for their first three points, battled back to level matters through Herman Wasswa on the stroke of half time.

But Bul talisman Hamisi Tibita, like ligtening, struck at the death with a winner that left home fans in utter disbelief.

The win, Bul’ s third in five matches, moved the Jinja side to third on 10 points, just three behind leaders Vipers.

This was Maroons fifth straight game without a win, and they lie at the bottom of the 16-team league with just one point.
