After failing to win any of their last three games, BUL have no room for error when they host Bright Stars at Njeru on Wednesday.

At the moment, they lead by two points on 34 and face a team with confidence after earning a hard fought late win over local area rivals Wakiso Giants on Sunday.

Bright Stars boost a decent record against BUL with 10 wins in the past 21 league meetings losing only four times in that period since gaining promotion in 2023.

“We come into this game knowing that Bright Stars has given us hard times in the previous campaigns. We drew 2-2 the last time we played home against them but we beat them 1-0 at the start of this season,” he Kikomeko.

“We now meet knowing they are coming to challenge us given that they even won their last game. However, since we are at home and on top of the table, we cannot afford to lose the opportunity of the three points.”

BUL are without injured Douglas Muganga, Pascal Ngobi and Martin Aprem while Lawrence Tezikya is suspended.

Bright Stars, sitting 9th on the log with 21 points will hope leading goal scorer Nelson Ssenkatuka continues his scoring spree.
