BUL relegate Police with a thrashing

Saturday result

Police 2-5 BUL

BUL ended any Police hopes of staying up by thrashing the Cops 5-2 away at the MTN Omondi Stadium on Saturday.

The victory moved BUL third on 49 points on the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) table, while now-relegated Police stayed third from bottom on 28.

Simon Oketch, brace hero Ibrahim Nsimbe, Martin Aprem and Owen Mukisa scored BUL’s goals while Frank Kalanda got a double for Police.

BUL can finish third above URA if they beat SC Villa by at least three unanswered goals and the Tax Collectors lose to Tooro next Saturday.

The Jinja side have enjoyed an impressive season, winning 13 of their 29 games with one left to play.
