URA FC 1-2 Busoga United FC
Busoga United picked up a rare come-from-behind victory on Saturday when they travelled to URA and beat the Tax Collectors 2-1 in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Livin Kabon gave the hosts the lead halfway the first half at Mehta Ground in Lugazi but a brace from Mugwa Bashamu completed Busoga’s turn around.
Busoga’s seventh victory keeps them two places off relegation on 18 points in as many matches.
URA, who had won their last three games coming into this one, are eighth on 23 points after just five victories in 18 matches.
At Mehta, the hosts went ahead on 22 minutes when Kabon killed off Nichola’s Kabonge’s pass as URA looked to make it four wins in a row.
But the visitors, who lost the first round fixture 4-0, hit back through Bashamu five minutes to half time, Laban Tibita creating that one. Bashamu completed his brace on 59 minutes when he struck home Peter Onzima’s ball.
