  • Kirinya Jinja SS Vs KCCA – Bugembe 4pm Live on Azam TV

KCCA assistant coach Morley Byekwaso anticipates a closely contested affair when his charges visit on form Kirinya Jinja SS at Bugembe on Friday.

The Jinja based side enjoyed a brilliant spell before the international break winning four in five games and that will be put to test by the champions.

“It will be close,” said Byekwaso. “They are a side that is aggressive and want to fight for every ball,” he added.

“Tough as it maybe, I see us winning 1-0 or 2-1 but it will be a difficult game.

Unlike Vipers and Proline, the reigning champions opted to play without three of their players who are on the U-20 national team that battles South Sudan on Saturday.

“We shall miss them but that’s where our squad depth comes in. There is enough remaining to clinch maximum points.

Muzamiru Mutyaba, Derrick Nsibambi, Muhammad Shaban will be the key men for the Kasasiro who lie 3rd with 36 points, two better than their day’s opponents who have a chance to displace them with maximum points.

The hosts will hope diminutive forward Amaku dons his goal scoring boots as well as Musa Esenu, scorer of a brace at Luzira against Maroons before the international break.
