The Azam Uganda Premier League (UPL) continues on Friday with heavyweights Vipers SC and SC Villa clashing at Buikwe Stadium.
But three future matches will not be played on earlier scheduled days because of different Caf engagements.
The affected fixtures include Sadolin Paints at home to URA earlier scheduled for Saturday, April 2 and The Saints hosting Maroons, also on the same day.
The other match differed to a future date to be determined is Soana away to Villa, which was earlier scheduled for Tuesday, April 5.
“The league Uganda Premier League Secretariat received requests from The Saints FC and URA FC to postpone their AUPL fixtures…,” reads in part a statement signed off by the league CEO Bernard Bainamani.
It continues: “…giving reason that some of their players are on the national U20 team travelling to Rwanda for the international match scheduled for Saturday 2nd April 2016.
“Relatedly, SC Villa will be travelling to Morocco on Wednesday 6th April 2016 for the CAF Confederation Cup and have requested the secretariat to postpone their Tuesday 5th April 2016 game to enable them prepare for their departure.”
The matches have been postponed in accordance with Article 19 of the Fufa Competitions Rules.
