Maroons 0-0 Wakiso Giants

Vipers SC 0-0 Gaddafi

Vipers missed an opportunity to further reduce the gap on leaders, BUL, to four points after being held goalless at home by Gaddafi on Thursday.

This on the same scoreless day after Wakiso Giants also defied Maroons 0-0 at the Prisons Ground in Luzira.

For Gaddafi, their second draw – this one at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende – in 17 matches is a point gained as it moves them to two marks away from relegation.

Gaddafi are a place above relegation in 13th and on 17 points, two ahead of Busoga United, who occupy the last spot of the drop zone.

Earlier in the day at the Prisons Ground, Wakiso Giants also held out for a goalless draw with home side Maroons.

Maroons fifth draw in 17 matches keeps them fifth on 29 points, while Wakiso Giants are 12th on 17.
