The second round of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) gets underway on Tuesday with reigning champions, KCCA, and current table leaders, Vipers, all looking to firing from the blocks straight away.
Coach Edward Golola’s Vipers went into the half term break leading manager Mike Mutebi’s KCCA by four points on 36 after 15 matches.
Now, following the official release of the second round fixtures, KCCA kick off with a home fixture against Mbarara City at StarTimes stadium on Wednesday looking to do their job and hoping Kyetume frustrate Vipers at St Mary’s Kitende on Friday.
Golola could unleash his January high profile signing Paul Mucureezi, the former KCCA midfielder who has joined from Mbarara, against Kyetume.
Fourth and sixth placed SC Villa and URA will have faced off against each other a day before on Tuesday, with Tooro hosting Onduparaka in Fort Portal. The league continues with more games lined up through Friday and Saturday.
