Uganda Cranes coach Sebastien Desabre has dropped two players from the contingent as the team flew to Morocco for the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN).

Proline striker Daniel Isiagi and SC Villa winger Godfrey Lwesibawa are the two players released as 25 players left for Morocco.

The travelling contingent has three goalkeepers, eight defenders, nine midfielders and three centre forwards.

Two more players will be released to make the final squad required at the CHAN which is 23.

Uganda Cranes will play friendlies against Congo and Cameroon before the championships kick off on January 12.
