John Luyinda, famously known as Ayala, has re-united with former bosses George ‘Best’ Nsimbe and Abdallah Mubiru at Vipers after dumping KCCA.

The CAF C coaching license holder penned a three-year-deal at the Uganda Cup winners before he was unveiled before the players on Tuesday.

Luyinda, who has spent four seasons as assistant coach KCCA, has won three league titles – two under Nsimbe and one under Mike Mutebi – resigned his job at Lugogo days after Mubiru was handed the coaching reins at Vipers.

“I feel great because Vipers is one of the best and highly ranked teams in Uganda,” Luyinda told Vipers website, “I believe it will improve my career as a coach.”

“I pledge hard work and commitment to help Vipers achieve more for years to come.”

His addition is intended to strengthen the technical bench ahead of a crucial season in which they will not only represent Uganda in the CAF Confederations Cup but also fight to retain the Uganda Cup and reclaim the league.
