Tuesday April 12, 2016 – Kakindu @ 4.30pm

Two struggling teams, two suspended head coaches. That will be the status when Bul host Simba on Tuesday in Jinja.

Bul forced their coach Alex Isabirye to take a sick leave on Saturday 19th March 2016 and just a day later, the army side suspended Morley Byekwaso due to a poor string of results.

The self-proclaimed Eastern giants depend on coaching credibility of Coach David Kiwanuka who has won only one of the four he has been in charge. The most recent was the narrow 1-0 loss in the derby against Sadolin.

“We are ready to go tomorrow (Tuesday) against Simba,” Kiwanuka told upl.co.ug. “The team made some mistakes on Saturday in the derby but all in all, we have sorted the little mess up. The team that was tactically better won then but we have a chance for redemption,” he added.

Bul won the first round game at Bombo1-0 on 3rd November last year but prior to that game; Bul had beaten Sadolin in the derby and lost 4-0 to Express which is extremely opposite now.

Simba pummeled fellow strugglers SC Victoria University 5-0 in what can be labeled as their best performance of the season prompting team Captain Godfrey Wakaza to state the team will survive the drop.

“Simba’s heart never dies; we shall escape the chop with this kind of result. The players believe and we know it’s possible to do it,” he said.
