Fahad Bayo scored in the first half as Uganda earned their first win of the Fifa World Cup qualifiers 2022 by beating Rwanda on Thursday.
The former Vipers SC man scored the winner in the 41st minute to take Cranes’ points tally to five after three games.
Micho fielded a squad dominated by StarTimes Uganda Premier League players with Express’ skipper Enoch Walusimbi, Martin Kiiza, Vipers’ Bobosi Byaruhanga, Aziizi Kayondo and Yunus Sentamu KCCA’s Julius Poloto and URA’s duo of Cromwell Rwothomio and Steven Mukwala all playing.
Uganda host the reverse fixture on Sunday at Vipers’ Home Ground, St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
