David Obua will hope to start his URA tenure on a winning note when they host Kitara at Lugazi on Friday evening.

The gaffer replaced experienced Sam Timbe who passed away in August and face wounded Kitara for his debut.

Kitara lost their last outing 1-0 to Maroons in a game they missed a penalty and URA are wounded as well after their unbeaten start to the season was halted by a 1-0 defeat at BUL.

The only previous league meeting between the two sides ended with a 3-2 win for URA but this is a different opposition to the one relegated two seasons ago.

With the experience of Paul Mucureezi, Frank Zaga, Brian Aheebwa and the high flying Denis Omedi, Obua’s men have work to do if they are to maintain their perfect home record so far.

The tax collectors have won both home games while Kitara are yet to drop any points on the road.

Elsewhere on Friday, KCCA host champions Vipers in the biggest game of round seven while Bright Stars aim to get off the mark when they host Busoga United at Kavumba.
