The Purple Sharks confirmed the capture of Moses Aliro who quit KCCA, right back Grant Matsiko and youngster Titus Ssematimba from Kigezi Home Boyz and Black Star FC Masanafu respectively.
At Soltilo Bright Stars, the biggest news featured the return of skipper Nelson Senkatuka.

Senkatuka helped the Kawempe based side reach the finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup in 2019 and his return feels the gap left by Samuel Kayongo.
There was also another returnee in Juma Balinya who signed for Police FC.
Balinya was top scorer in 2018/19 with the Cops scoring 19 goals.
The Cops also reportedly signed Eddy Kapampa from Maroons and Arafat Kakonge from UPDF.
