The casket containing remains of the late Abel Dhaira finally arrived at Entebbe Airport in the wee hours of Sunday morning, one week after the former Uganda Cranes goalkeeper passed on.

Dhaira, a former player with Icelandic football club, IBV Vestmannaeyjar, died last Sunday after succumbing to abdominal cancer in Iceland.

The program earlier released by Fufa indicates that a requiem mass for Dhaira will be held on Monday 10am at All Saints Cathedral, Nakasero.

The deceased’s body will then be taken to Nakivubo Stadium for the public to pay their last respects.

From there it will be taken to the late Dhaira father’s home in Walukuba, Jinja for vigil before proceeding to the Busoga Kingdom Parliament on Tuesday.

Dhaira, who died at a tender age of 28, will be buried on Wednesday in Kigandalo, Mayuge District.
