The StarTimes Uganda Premier League 2022/23 season enters the final three games with Vipers, KCCA and SC Villa all going for the title.

On Tuesday, the trio return to action with both KCCA and Vipers at home to BUL and Express respectively while third placed SC Villa are away to relegation threatened UPDF.

At St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende, the champions will seek to end a two-match winless run.

Alex Isabirye’s men lost to Soltilo Bright Stars and drew with Onduparaka and must beat Express FC who held rivals KCCA in their previous game.

The two sides played to a stalemate in the reverse fixture at Wankulukuku but a repeat of the same result will haunt Vipers’ chances of defending the title for the first time in history.

At the MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo, KCCA will be desperate to end a three-match winless run when they host BUL.

The Kasasiro, without suspended Jackson Mayanja and striker Tshisungu Kankonde have drawn two and lost one of their last three games since beating Gaddafi 1-0 in Kakindu.

BUL are still searching for their first win in the second round and will prove a hard nut to crack.

Elsewhere in Bombo, UPDF who are still in the fight to stay up host SC Villa who lost their last outing 1-0 to stubborn Maroons.

Villa, with the inferior goal difference of the three must beat the army side to keep up with the rest in the race.
