Bul 3-0 Mbarara City

A first half hat-trick from Musa Esenu headlined a commanding 45 minutes as Bul continued their brilliant start to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) with a 3-0 thrashing of Mbarara City on Saturday.

The eastern side forward struck on 26, 32 and 45 minutes for Bul to breathe in heavily on leaders Vipers SC. He now has six goals, two behind top scorer Fahad Bayo of Vipers.

Bul are second on the 16-team log on 27 points, just three behind coach Edward Golola’s Vipers, who have 30. However, at 13 matches, Bul have played one more game than Vipers.

This is Bul’s eighth league win of the season. Only Vipers have won more at nine. This defeat for Mbarara at Bugembe Stadium was their sixth in 12 matches. The Western Region side have won only two matches.
