Striker Musa Esenu cannot wait for the new StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) season to kick off after his move to 12 times champions KCCA.
The league is set start on September 28 although fixtures have been delayed by the club licencing process. But that has not dampened Esenu’s spirits.
“I am at KCCA FC for nothing but football,” said the forward, “I want to achieve the best at my new club and above all I want to score goals for this club.
“For me it was an easy decision to make, when KCCA FC approached me I did not have to think twice, I just had to make the decision.”
Esenu, the former Kirinya-Jinja (loan) and Vipers player, was speaking to the club website.
“I have played football at the top level locally but I have not been to a club like KCCA FC. The way things are done at this club is really amazing.
“From the management to technical team and to players is so professional. It’s the kind of environment every athlete would love to work in.
“I have been told the fans are amazing and love winning and I want to make them happier by scoring goals and most importantly achieving success.”
Esenu started his football career at Soroti Giants before movingto Soana, Vipers SC and Kirinya-Jinja SS. He also previously played University Football with Mubs.
