Express aim to stay top as KCCA visit Kyetume

Tuesday March 09, 2021 4pm

  • Kyetume Vs KCCA – Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru
  • Onduparaka Vs Mbarara City – Green Light stadium, Arua
  • Police Vs URA – MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo Live on Sanyuka TV
  • UPDF Vs Express FC – Bombo Barracks stadium
  • Busoga vs MYDA – Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru 1pm

Six time league champions Express make a short trip to Bombo to face UPDF aiming to stay at the top of the league.

The Red Eagles maintained their top spot on Saturday without kicking a ball after Vipers lost in Mbarara and they are aware that only beating UPDF will keep there until the next match day.

George Senkaaba remains out after he got injured in the win away to Kitara last week and could be joined by Charles Musiige and left back Arthur Kiggundu.

UPDF come into the game seeking redemption after losing 6-1 to KCCA in their last game and failure to pick a point could see them drop from the top half of the table.

Elsewhere, KCCA visit struggling Kyetume aiming to keep their resurgence alive.

The Kasasiro have won their previous four of the five games and their form suggests they are back into title contention after many wrote them off following a slump in form.

They face a team low on confidence after failing to win any of their games since restart.

In other games on Tuesday, MYDA visit Busoga United with either targeting first season win, Onduparaka host Mbarara City while URA are away to Police in the televised game of the day.
