Six-time champions Express have appointed a new chairperson to replace ousted Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi.
The move happens at a time when the Red Eagles are bottom of the 16-team log with fears it could get relegated.
Hajji Hassan Bulwadda is the man who has replaced Nakiwala whose tenure has lasted for one and half years.
“The change came after a stakeholders meeting that had among others club patron Nakibinge and President Bbaale Mugera,” confirmed Denis Katumba, the club publicist.
The Red Eagles currently lie bottom of the log with 15 points in 18 games and the decision to oust Nakiwala was reached after the team lost 2-1 to Bright Stars on Tuesday.
Efforts to reach both the incoming and outgoing leaders were futile but as usual, we shall keep you posted.
