His future at Express may be in balance, thanks to lack of a CAF ‘B’ coaching license, but Wasswa Bbosa isn’t bothered.
At the moment, the former Express and URA midfielder is busy preparing his side for what is a highly anticipated 2016-17 Azam Uganda Premier League (UPL) season.
Speaking to upl.co.ug on Tuesday morning, Bbosa said he was content with the squad and believes they will be a force to reckon with next season.
“First of all, am impressed with boys’ attitude at training,” he said. “It delights me that I have options in all departments and am confident by the time the season starts, we shall be in fine moods to compete,” he added.
Despite the likes of Vincent Kayizzi, Sam Kintu and Ibrahim Kayiwa leaving the club, the Red Eagles have ably found replacements.
Some of the experienced players training at Wankulukuku include Noah Ssemakula, Simon Sserunkuma, Sam Senkoomi, Derrick Tekwo, Francis Gonzaga, Allan Kyambadde and Omar Hitimana.
Others are John Semazzi, Ronald Sseku, Farouk Matovu, Tony Odur, Emmanuel Opio and Kigozi ‘Gazza’ Richard.
The Red Eagles last won a league title in the 2011-12 season.
