Kyetume 3-2 Wakiso

John Byamukama scored the all-important goal as Express edged Vipers 1-0 at the Venoms own backyard, St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Friday.

The Express player, Byamukama, finished off Martin Kiiza 65th minute assist with relish.

Express’ 11th victory in 20 matches keeps them in third place but moves them to within three points of URA and Vipers, who are each at 43.

Elsewhere, Kyetume edged Wakiso 3-2 in a five goal thriller in the day’s other game.

Robert Ssentongo cancelled out Viane Sekajugo’s 15th minute opener five minutes later but Wakiso’s Ivan Bogere restored the visitors lead.

But Feni Moses Ali and Saka Sharif goals after recess won the thriller for Kyetume, who stayed third from bottom despite the victory.
