Express have a chance to leave bottom of the Azam Uganda Premier League but only if they don’t falter against Soana.
The former league champions host Alex Isabirye’s side at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku in one of only three games on the day.
The Red Eagles come into the game buoyed by the addition of experienced tactician George ‘Best’ Nsimbe to their technical ranks but still low in mood after losing 4-3 to Police on Saturday.
Against Soana, Shafik Bisaso, former boss at the club will hope his forwards Alfred Leku, Michael Birungi and Isaac Kisujju don scoring boots after a lethargic performance on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Soana come with inside knowledge about the Red Eagles thanks to skipper Willy Kavuma, Emma Kalyowa, Ayub Kizza and Steven Bengo among other who previously played at Wankulukuku.
Soana won the reverse fixture 1-0 at Kavumba and a result similar to that will leave the Red Eagles in a tougher situation in the fight for survival.
