Police 3-3 Express
Police twice surrendered the lead before scoring a late equaliser to earn a 3-3 draw with 10-man Express in Friday’s Azam Uganda Premier League (UPL) match played at Kavumba.
Osman Mutumba, Rahmat Senfuka and Hood Kaweesa scored for Police while Allan Kyambadde, grabbing a brace, and Simon Sserunkuma netted for the Red Eagles.
The result moved Express only one place up to sixth with 13 points while the Cops continue relinquishing second from the bottom on seven.
Police’s Mutumba opened the scoring on 43 minutes before Allan Kyambadde levelled for Express to into the break level.
The hosts took the lead again through Rahmat Senfuka on 49 minutes but Simon Sserunkuma brought Express level again on 50 minutes.
Kyambadde then completed his brace on 65 minutes, giving the Red Eagles the lead for the first time before Express’ Musa Mukasa was sent off 10 minutes from time.
But Police were determined not to lose for the fifth time, Hood Kaweesa levelling on 88 minutes.
