Disan Galiwango scored a second half brace to help Express beat Tooro United at St. Paul Seminary Grounds in Fort Portal.

The inspirational captain netted in a space of five minutes to cancel out an early penalty by former Red Eagles captain Willy Kavuma.

The win moves Express to 9th on the table with 17 points in 14 games while Tooro United are fourth from bottom on a 16-team table with 14 points.

At Fufa Technical Centre Njeru, Wakiso Giants squandered a two goal lead to draw 2-2 with hosts Maroons.

Karim Ndugwa and Viane Ssekajugo scored for the Purple Sharks who remain sixth with 20 points while Steven Mukwala scored a double to overtake Fahad Bayo as the league’s leading top marksman and send Maroons to 18 points in 13 games.
