Express salvaged a point thanks to a late strike by Yafesi Mubiru that denied hosts Soana maximum points at Kavumba on Tuesday.
The two sides were seeking redemption after faltering in their previous outings but saw an entertaining first half end goalless.
Twelve minutes to time, Soana took the lead as veteran Dan Wagaluka put the ball at the back of the net.
The goal seemed to have settled the game until the first minute of additional time when U-20 international Yafesi Mubiru levelled matters for the Red Eagles.
The result is a replica of the first round fixture at Wankulukuku and the two sides maintain their position on the log.
Wasswa Bbosa’s side are fourth with 36 points whilst Soana are a slot and point adrift.
