After going nine games with no win, Express target return to winning ways when they host SC Villa at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku in the only game on Sunday.

The Red Eagles who lost their last outing 1-0 to URA will also desperate to avoid losing twice to their rivals in a single season since 2020.

“We lost the first Derby this season and we’ve have worked on all our mistakes in the previous games to see that we overturn the results,” Odoch told the club media.

“It has not been a good run to us but with the fans’ support this time round; we will get the positive results.”

Villa come into the game on a six game unbeaten streak and are aware that a win will lift them to second place following URA’s win over BUL and Vipers not being in action.

Express could miss Ivan Mayanja and Daniel Shabene who remain doubtful for Express but skipper Isa Lumu is confirmed ruled out through injury.

Villa have not reported any injuries but are without Patrick Kakande and Travis Mutyaba who played in the Afcon U-20 with Hippos.
