Express FC coach James Odoch admits his team learnt from the first round defeat at Wakiso Giants ahead of his side’s clash with the Purple Sharks at Wankulukuku on Friday.

The fixture is one of the four that kick started match day 25.

Wakiso Giants won the reverse fixture 3-2 in a game they dominated thoroughly despite Anwar Ntege scoring a brace.

“They are a good side with good players who are comfortable on the ball and use the ball well,” said James Odoch. “We must be at our best to stop them and am optimistic we shall get all maximum points,” he added.

The Purple Sharks are without key players in Apollo Kagogwe, Titus Ssematimba, Paul Willa and suspended Lawrence Bukenya.

The hosts are also without skipper Isa Lumu (suspension) but have striker Ntege back.

Express are 9^th with 29 points while Wakiso Giants are on 30 points in 7^th position.

At Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru, Soltilo Bright Stars visit limping BUL optimistic of victory given their decent record against Simeon Masaba’s side.

The Stars have won 10 of the past 19 league meetings losing just three times.

Elsewhere, Arua Hill lock horns with Onduparaka at Green Light stadium while UPDF take on Blacks Power at Bombo.
