The 2020/21 StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) completed the first round games on Thursday, March 18 before slowing down for the international break.
But the stop won’t be long. The league resumes a day after Uganda Cranes Afcon trip to Malawi, with Busoga United welcoming Onduparaka at Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru on March 31.
Third-placed Express versus table leaders, URA, without a doubt headlines Match Day 16 on Saturday.
The two heavyweights face off at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku with the hosts, Express knowing victory would see them close the gap on URA to one.
URA top on 36 points, while Vipers are second on three fewer.
Victory for coach Sam Ssimbwa’s men will see them maintain or restore a three-point lead regardless of what happens between Vipers away at UPDF a day before.
Fourth-placed KCCA, 27 points, welcome Bul while SC Villa, who ended the first round in seventh place on 25 points, will be away at Myda.
