Express visit close city rivals KCCA at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo eager to complete a rare double over the hosts who want to close in on title.
The Red Eagles won the reverse fixture 3-2 at Wankulukuku and George Ssimwogerere is confident the same can happen.
“We beat them at Wankulukuku and it’s not impossible to do so at Lugogo,” he told upl.co.ug.
“It will be a tough game against the table leaders but we are not afraid to take them on.
Mike Mutebi believes his charges have an upper hand given the quality at disposal.
“The traditional rivalry spices it the more,” he said. “But our target is to win and we have ammunitions to do so,” he added.
KCCA will stretch their lead at the top to 59 points and open a 9 point gap over second placed Vipers and thus get within point of the title.
Elsewhere, Onduparaka host Bul at Green Light stadium, Arua, Nyamityobora want to prolong their stay in the division when they host Maroons while Mbarara City visit Tooro United at Kavumba.
