Express wary of ‘stubborn’ Mbarara City threat

Tuesday Fixtures 3pm

  • Bul vs Busoga United – Kyabazinga stadium, Bugembe
  • Express vs Mbarara City – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku
  • SC Villa vs URA – Fufa Technical Centre, Njeru (Sanyuka TV)
  • Onduparaka vs Wakiso Giants – Green light stadium, Arua
  • Police vs Gaddafi – MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo

Express FC Coach Wasswa Bbosa has urged his charges to put up a stellar performance against Mbarara City who they host on Tuesday at Wankulukuku.

The Red Eagles have only picked one win at home this season and face a team they didn’t beat last season.

Martin Kiiza and Arthur Kiggundu are ruled out of the game through injury and fever respectively but George Senkaaba and Murushid Jjuuko are back.

The champions are eleven points adrift of leaders KCCA after eight games and dropping more points will see them fall out of title contention before even the half way mark.

Meanwhile, Mbarara City will be confident coming into the game after beating SC Villa 1-0 in their last outing.

They will hope forwards Henry Kitegenyi, Jude Semugabi and Solomon Okwalinga are in fine form.
