The league winner is already known but going into the last day, there is a lot to fight for as teams seek to finish in decent positions.
However, the battle of all battles will be in games involving URA and outgoing champions Vipers as Robert Ssentongo and Erisa Ssekisambu respectively take the fight for the Top Scorers boot on.
The Saints Vs Vipers – Namboole
At Namboole, Vipers visit The Saints but all eyes will be on Ssekisambu, whose 15 league goals place him one goal behind leader Ssentongo.
The former URA, Express and SC Villa forward had gone four successive fixtures without scoring but was at it again netting the leveller against the Tax Men on Tuesday.
On the same day, Ssentongo, who had earlier missed his side’s games due to disciplinary issues, had given Kefa Kisala’s side a lead.
Vipers sit second on the log with 52 points and are likely to maintain the same slot even if they draw against The Saints, who they beat 3-0 on opening day.
Moses Basena’s side are already safe from relegation but will seek to end season a high.
URA Vs SC VU – Lugazi
SC Victoria University have conceded the most goals and will be fortunate to survive a massacre at Lugazi.
The focus will be on Ssentongo who will be eager to create space between him and Ssekisambu who closely follows him on the goal scoring charts.
A historic double over the taxmen will be on the heads of SC VU players as they won the reverse fixture 2-1courtesy of Farouk Kawooya and Titus Lubega goals.
The duo quit the club in January but Frank Kalanda who scored URA’s consolation remains at the club and has a chance to add to his goal tally against the financially burdened side.
Maroons Vs SC Villa – Lugazi
Though already relegated, Maroons will be eager to go down with pride and are targeting a win against SC Villa.
The Prisons’ side wants to dedicate a decent performance to fallen Chairman Tommy Ochen (RIP).
For SC Villa, they need to win the game to make it four out of four as the season concludes. Besides, they have a chance to finish third just in case Police arrests rivals Express at Kavumba.
Police Vs Express – Kavumba
At the start of the campaign, Express’ Wasswa Bbosa target was to finish in the top four. It’s already achieved and going into final game as Police, they will just to cement it.
Veterans like Tony Odur, Vincent Kayizzi and Noah Ssemakula also target a winning end to what has been a good season for the club many expected to struggle after losing almost the entire team in transfers before kickoff of the season.
Lweza Vs Bul – Wankulukuku
Lweza only survived in the last round with a slim 2-1 win over SC VU but will seek to hand their fans happiness at the league’s closure.
The Oranje play at home to Bul, a side formerly coached by their current Coach Joseph Mutyaba.
Lweza were pummeled 4-1 in the first leg fixture and revenge will be on cards for the side.
JMC Hippos Vs Simba – Kakindu
After 20 years in the top division, Simba will love to sign off with victory as they play JMC Hippos at Kakindu.
The army side went down despite winning 2-0 against The Saints on Tuesday thanks to Lweza’s 2-1 win over SC Victoria University.
But against JMC, one of the sides to let in the fewest goals, it will be a big task.
KCCA Vs Sadolin Paints – Nakivubo Live on TV
After sealing their 11th league title on Tuesday, KCCA target to be crowned in winning fashion with a home tie against Sadolin Paints at Nakivubo.
The Kasasiro go into the game as favourites being at home and under no pressure but must treat the visitors with care as they want to spoil the party.
Last season, Sadolin Paints won this fixture 2-1 at Lugogo to hamper the hosts’ title charge then but KCCA beat them 3-0 on day one.
Bright Stars Vs Soana – Mwerwere
At Champions Stadium, Mwerwere, Soana Coach Charles Ayiekoh wants his side to maintain their record as the highest scorers with victory over Bright Stars.
Goalie Mathias Kigonya faces his former bosses and will seek to prove a point.
