Former SC Villa Captain happy to join KCCA

Former immediate SC Villa captain Bernard Muwanga couldn’t hide his joy after penning a three year with KCCA.

Muwanga who admits it was always his desire to join the club also says he has always wanted to work with coach Mike Mutebi whose philosophy he believes in.

“I am extremely happy to be part of KCCA FC,” he told the club’s official website. “I have always been a big admirer of the club and the way things are done here is absolutely top class,” he added.

The philosophy of the coach is what I do believe in as a player and I am glad that am now part of this project. I hope to help the club keep achieving glory like they have been doing. My focus now is to get to know the lads more and get familiar with my new club.

The former Bright Stars captain, tipped by many to take over the armband at Lugogo says he can’t wait to get started.

“I cannot wait to get started for KCCA FC. The surroundings at the club are favorable, a dream for any footballer.

He is expected to make his debut against Tunisia’s Esperance in the Caf Champions League mid this month.
