Fufa release 2020/21 licensing regulations

As the world continues to find ways of negotiating the Coronavirus pandemic, Ugandan sport also soldiers on to look for ways on how to get back.

The National Council of Sports (NCS) recently released Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sport to begin their way back.

Continental soccer body Caf also later came out with a program for resumption of football.

Now, to start off-field preparations for the new 2020/21 football season, local FA Fufa has released regulations for club licensing, with the UPL and its member clubs expected to start preseason work.

“This letter therefore serves to introduce you the FUFA Club Licensing Regulations
2020/21 as approved by FUFA Executive Committee and coming in force with immediate effect,” reads in part a letter from Fufa to affected parties.

“We are confident you will undertake appropriate preparations to make your club ready for 2020/21 club licensing process.”

Attached are the Fufa letter and the regulations.
