Gaddafi 3-1 Blacks Power

Onduparka 2-2 Maroons

Gaddafi saw off Blacks Power 3-1 at Kakindu Stadium on Sunday as coach Wasswa Bbosa’s side secured their fifth win in 12 StarTimes Uganda Premier League matches this season.

Brian Kalumba – his coming on the stroke of half time, Bakari Magumba and Elvis Ngondwe scored for the home side while Ronald Musana scored the visitors’ consolation.

Gaddafi moved up to sixth with 18 points while Blacks Power are 12th on nine.

In Arua, Onduparaka grabbed a late equaliser through Rashid Okocha to salvage a point on their return to the Green Light Stadium.

Onduparaka played their first five home matches from Bombo Military Barracks Stadium as they served sanctions over fan violence.

Nathan Oloro first converted from the spot inside three minutes to give the hosts the lead before goals from Isaac Mpagi and Fred Amaku handed Maroons the advantage.

But that was until the 90th minute when Okocha intervened to rescue the hosts a point.

Onduparaka remain the only league side yet to pick a win this season. The Caterpillars stay bottom of the table on three points while Maroons are ninth on 14.
