Collated Tuesday results

Wakiso Giants 1-1 KCCA

Busoga United 1-1 SC Villa

Kyetume 2-2 Soltilo Bright Stars

KCCA and SC Villa were all held at Wakiso Giants and Busoga United respectively in match day nine of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) on Tuesday.

Kyetume and Soltilo Bright Stars also played out a draw in the four-goal thriller.

The 1-1 draw with Wakiso Giants has KCCA, who just ended a three-match losing run with a 5-0 thrashing of Myda last week, in seventh place with 14 points.

That is seven points behind leaders Vipers SC.

Manager Mike Mutebi’s KCCA took the lead through Samson Kigozi on 41 minutes in Wakiso but Rahmat Ssenfuka’s penalty on the stroke of half time secured the hosts a point.

Wakiso Giants, who have drawn eight of their nine games, are 10th on 11 points.

In Jinja, Isaac Ogwang cancelled out Douglas Muganga’s 12th minute goal to earn Villa a draw against hosts Busoga United.

Gerald Bagoole crafted Muganga’s opener of the match before Ronald Ssekiganda combined with Ogwang to rescue Villa a point.

The result has Villa in fourth on 15 points, while Busoga top the bottom three with five.

Elsewhere, Sharif Saaka and Ezra Bida scored for Kyetume while Joseph Janjali and Sam Samayongo Ssekamatte better for Soltilo Bright Stars in the 2-2 stalemate.
