Saturday April 16, 2016, Soana Vs URA – Kavumba @ 4pm

In a combined 48 league games for the two sides, only seven barren draws have been registered.

On top of that, the two sides have scored a total of 66 goals with URA netting 36. Soana’s tally of 30 is only bettered by the Tax men and log leaders KCCA.

Interestingly, their backlines have been as generous in giving away goals. URA have conceded 26 while Soana have let in 29.

As the two sides meet at Kavumba Recreation Ground on Saturday afternoon, goals are expected to rain if statistics are anything to go by.

The visitors, who won the first round fixture at Lugazi 3-1, will be targeting maximum points to keep their faint hopes of winning the league for the first time in five years alive.

Kefa Kisala’s side sit third on the log with 39 points but the ex-Masaka LC and Bul tactician thinks they are still in the race.

“It may not be in our hands at the moment but if we keep winning our games, who knows,” he told upl.co.ug. “People keep saying the race is over but when you ask who has won the league, they mention no team,” he added.

Robert Ssentongo and in-form Feni Ali, who has scored twice in as many previous games, will be the go-to men for the visitors while youthful striker Musa Esenu, veteran Dan Wagaluka and Allan Kayiwa will be for Charles Ayiekho’s side that sits seventh on the log four points adrift of the tax men.
