Huge wins for Police, BUL as Ondu is held

Police returned to winning ways beat bottom of the table Tooro United 4-2 at MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo to move to 21 points.

Juma Balinya, Tonny Mawejje, Marvin Oshaba and Herman Wasswa scored for the dominant Cops while Ronald Magwali and Hussein Mwanje got the consolations for the visitors who stay at the base with nine points.

In Bugembe, BUL humiliated UPDF 5-1 to extend the army side’s winless run to nine games.

Simon Oketch scored a brace while Karim Ndugwa, Richard Wandyaka and Ibrahim Kazindula got one each with Walter Ochora own goal the only thing the army side left Bugembe with.

BUL consolidate top place with 33 points while UPDF are 9th with 22 points.

Elsewhere, 8th placed Gaddafi held Onduparaka to a goalless draw at the Ababet Green Light stadium in Arua to move to 25 points as Onduparaka remain 12th with 18 points.
