It an all-premier league squad for Somalia tie | Chan 2020 Qualifiers

Abdallah Mubiru has named an entirely Uganda Premier League set of players to face Somalia in the 2020 Chan qualifiers.

The team left in the wee hours of Thursday to Djibouti where Somalia will host the Cranes due to instability in Mogadishu.

League champions KCCA have the largest share with eight players including three who featured for the senior team at the recently concluded Afcon tournament in Egypt.

The match will be played on Saturday July 27 at the Al Hajji Hussein Guled stadium.

The Team

Goalkeepers: James Alitho (URA FC) and Charles Lukwago (KCCA FC).

Defenders: Paul Willa (Vipers SC), Mustafa Mujjuzi (KCCA FC), John Revita (Express FC), Mustafa Kizza (KCCA), Paul Mbowa Patrick (URA) and Timothy Denis Awany (KCCA)

Midfielders: Tom Masiko (Vipers SC), Ibrahim Juma Sadam (KCCA FC), Taddeo Lwanga (Vipers SC), Shafik Kagimu (Vipers), Allan Kyambadde (KCCA FC), Muzamiru Mutyaba (KCCA FC) and Allan Okello (KCCA FC).
