KCCA will only return to league action on Saturday October 14 but for Mike Mutebi, its business as usual at Lugogo.
The Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) broke off on Wednesday September 27 to allow the Uganda Cranes prepare for the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Ghana.
The long break wasn’t welcomed by many coaches including Mike Mutebi but he says they have gone on with normal business at Lugogo.
“There is no break here,” he told upl.co.ug. “First, I don’t think it’s so good to have such a very long break. It’s very unnecessary,” he added.
“For us, we have organised practice matches on usual match days as we keep the boys match fit.
KCCA went into the break in an usual position as compared to their previous two campaigns, four points adrift of log leaders Vipers.
The Kasasiro have drawn three and won just once in four league matches so far.
