Less than 48 hours after the January window opened, Express have released over nine players.
The struggling giants who languish in relegation zone after the first half of the league target revamping the squad under Coach Shafik Bisaso who is yet to pick a point since he was appointed Red Eagles coach.
The released players are defender Deo Othieno who made a couple of appearances, midfielder AbdulKarim Kasule and Rashid Nsubuga.
Others are Jose Maria Lubega, Salim Munubi, John Kisakye, Isaac Katende and Nigerian Promise Mkpene.
The Red Eagles are expected to sign a couple of players especially on loan with reports already linking them with Tony Odur who seems frustrated at Vipers.
Express have won just three games, drawn two and lost 10 games and have 11 points, second from bottom on the 16-team log.
