Friday April 8, 2016, JMC Hippos Vs Lweza – Kakindu @ 4.00pm Live on Azam TV

JMC Hippos Coach James Odoch admitted his side were fortunate to salvage a point against Maroons but wants maximum points against Lweza who they host on Friday.

“I think we were lucky to earn a point on Tuesday,” he told upl.co.ug. “The boys were fatigued then after spending nights at Abel Dhaira (RIP) vigil but they are all fresh at the moment and I don’t see why we can’t get all points,” he added.

The Jinja side stunned Lweza 1-0 in the reverse fixture at Wankulukuku in the first round thanks to Moustapha Mugoya goal but they face a different opposition this time round.

Lweza beefed up their squad in the January window and will be tougher an opponent as Joseph Mutyaba – Odoch’s former teammate at both SC Villa and Express warns.

“I don’t think we were as good as we are when they beat us then,” Mutyaba remarked. “They are safe as per standings but for us, fighting for survival remains the target,” he added.

The visitors won 2-0 against The Saints in their previous game and will be eager to win successive games.

John Walakaita may return for the hosts after missing the stalemate with Maroons but the visitors will invest hopes in veteran forward Geoffrey Sserunkuma.
