KCCA 3-0 Paidha Black Angles
A treble from striker Patrick Kaddu shot KCCA four points clear at the top of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) following a comprehensive 3-0 victory over struggling Paidha Black Angels at Lugogo on Tuesday.
The 12-time Ugandan champions now have 27 points after 12 matches. Onduparaka are second on 23 having played the same number of matches.
Reigning champions Vipers SC are on 21 but have played three matches fewer than KCCA and Onduparaka.
Kaddu opened the scoring on 15 minutes before doubling the lead six minutes later and completing his first half hattrick on the stroke of half time.
The striker’s treble brought him to six goals, nine behind the league’s leading scorer Bashir Mutanda of SC Villa.
Defeat for Paidha was the bottom club’s 10th in 12 matches, picking only four points along the way.
