All eyes will be on midfielders Emma Kalyowa and Sula Bagala when Lweza take on Express in a Wankulukuku derby on Saturday afternoon.
The two players left the Red Eagles for the Oranje in the January window and have been instrumental in the team’s impressive outings in the second round.
The duo was imperative for Express in the 2-1 first round victory and now target to avenge that defeat on behalf of their new bosses.
“I have much respect for Express but am now playing for Lweza,” Kalyowa told upl.co.ug. “As a professional, I want my team to win and am confident we shall achieve our target,” he added.
Caeser Okhuti scored twice for Express then and Mike Sserumaga was on the score sheet for Lweza. The two players have since left and thus if goals are to rain, expect new names on the score sheets for either.
Express, who sit fifth on the 16-team log with 36 points, drew 1-1 with Soana in their last game and so did Lweza against KCCA on the same day; Tuesday.
