Tuesday result
Express 4-0 Busoga United

Stiker Eric Kambale netted a brace as Express punished Busoga United 4-0 at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku on Tuesday.

George Senkaaba and Yaya Mahad scored the others as the StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) defending champions continued recovery from a poor start to the season.

The Red Eagles only sixth victory in 13 matches has them fourth on a 16-team log with 23 points, six and five behind leaders Vipers and KCCA.

On their part, Busoga United could not endure a poor season so far. Their ninth defeat in 12 matches, in which they have scored only eight goals and conceded 23, has them second from bottom on just seven points.

It is Senkaaba who opened the scoring at Wankulukuku on 21 minutes before Kambale doubled the advantage just moments later. Kambale then got his second and Express’ third on 41 minutes.

It was no longer a contest by half time but Mahad added more salt to the visitor’s injury, netting the fourth in injury time.
