The StarTimes Uganda Premier League continues starting Friday with match day 24 with KCCA – SC Villa clash headlining the fixtures.
On Friday, action begins with a Jinja derby when Busoga United host limping BUL at Kakindu.
The Kings Men will seek recovery after losing 3-0 to Express FC in the last outing while BUL target first league victory under Simeon Masaba.
Then Saturday will see Arua Hill host Gaddafi in Barifa as the former aim to build on their impressive victory over leaders SC Villa.
On the same day, we shall witness night football with Vipers taking on resurgent URA at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
Vipers are desperate to close in on table leadership while the tax collectors hope to keep their resurgence on.
The two teams are separated with only two points with Vipers on 35 points in 3rd position while URA in 4th with 33 despite playing four games more.
Sunday will see the biggest game of the match day when KCCA who are winless in the last four league games host rivals SC Villa who also lost their last outing.
Former Ugandan international Jackson Mayanja will handle his first match since replacing Morley Byekwaso as the Kasasiro seek to close in on the Jogoos who lead the standings on 43 points, five better than KCCA who have played two games less.
But before that, Wakiso Giants will continue a search for an elusive second round victory when they host relegation bound Onduparaka at Kabaka Kyabaggu in a lunch time kick off.
The match day will conclude with Vipers and Arua Hill locking horns in Barifa in a rescheduled fixture while on fire Express will visit Soltilo Bright Stars in Kavumba with their game pitting UPDF and Maroons at the Prisons Grounds, Luzira.
