Vipers SC captain Milton Karisa leads a three-man cast tussling it out for the Pilsner-StarTimes Uganda Premier League Player of the Season award. 

The forward has been nominated alongside SC Villa attacker Charles Bbaale and Maroons goalkeeper Simon Tamale.

Tamale is also nominated alongside URA’s Nafian Alionzi and Matovu Muyomba of Soltilo Bright Stars for Goalkeeper of the Season.

League and Cup double winning tactician with Vipers Alex Isabirye, Jackson Magera, who led SC Villa to a third place finish before being let go at the end of season, and Maroons’ Mohammed Ssenfuma are up for Coach of the Season.

Defender, Midfielder, Young Player, Coach of the Season and the UPL Best XI are the other categories that will be determined by a technical panel, journalists and fans.

The Top Scorer, Most Assists and Fair Play Team of the Season shall be determined by statistics. 

Winners will be announced on July 6 at a ceremony to be held at Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, and will receive a specially designed awards and other tokens of appreciation.
