Vipers captain Milton Karisa doesn’t expect it easy when his side visits Wakiso Giants on Tuesday in what will be their fourth league game of the season.

The fixture could have been played earlier but the Venoms where in the Caf Champions League qualification stages and went on to qualify for the group stages.

“It’s not going to be an easy game but we’re ready as a team,” he spoke to Vipers Media.

“The team will fight for three points such that we can develop and maintain a strong run of form. We need to pick positive results.”

Vipers beat Maroons 3-0 in their last outing to register their first win and will want to build on that at the Purple Sharks who have won the last three games and are unbeaten in four since defeat on match day one at KCCA.

The Venoms won all meetings last season but this will be a bigger test against John Luyinda’s men.

Both teams are missing crucial players with the hosts missing Titus Ssematimba, Marvin Nyanzi and Ronald Madoi who are with the national U-20 team in Sudan while Vipers are without Lumala Abdu, Paul Mucureezi, Bright Anukani and Livingstone Mulondo.
